I'm surprised that Daiwa actually have affordable spinners up to 6500 sizes. This should give new comers to Jigging (with a down to earth budget) more options! Toyed with it at the tackle store near my home and it felt pretty decent for the price. Only minor set back was the low drag pressure. For a 6500 size reel the drag pressure with knob fully buttoned down, was well under 10kgs... maybe 7kgs at tops? Swapping to C-Tex might help a little...

I think if you need such a big reel, you will probably need the kind of drag too.

On my recent trip, a 50kg doggy ripped off the bail arm on a 4500 saltiga !
